The Skillwik website uses only the cookies and local storage it needs for sign-in, security and your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. The Chrome extension does not use cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and local storage are small pieces of data that a website keeps in your browser. They can keep you signed in and remember your choices.
2. Cookies and storage we use
These are needed for Skillwik to work:
- Sign-in and session: they keep you signed in to the learning web app and protect your account.
- Security: they help us stop abuse and keep the service safe.
- Preferences: they remember choices such as your return page, language and accessibility settings.
3. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The Chrome extension does not use cookies. It keeps your games and settings in the browser's extension storage on your device.
4. Optional error reports
If you switch on "Send error reports" inside the Chrome extension, we receive anonymous error reports. This is off by default. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Payment page
When you pay, you are on the Razorpay payment page. Razorpay may set its own cookies there under its own policy.
6. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to sign in, and your preferences may be reset.
